Why Family Services Exists
Family Services is aimed at assisting community members seeking help and guidance. It is a support structure for the community with the help of the community.
There has been an unprecedented influx of Indian nationals to the U.S., driven first by the growth of the hi-tech industry and later by the rise in international students and senior citizens. Recognizing the culture-specific and unmet sociological needs of these new nationals, Sewa International began offering a range of services in response.
The program leverages existing local community resources while bringing complementary services to serve beneficiaries effectively.
