How Sewa Responds

Rescue

The first 72 hours are decisive. We support rescue operations through volunteer coordination, helplines, and on-the-ground assistance — connecting survivors to safety, search teams, and emergency shelter.

Relief

Once the immediate crisis passes, we organize food and clothing drives, supply hot meals, and provide immediate clean-up after flooding. We also help families navigate FEMA aid applications and replace essential documents.

Rehabilitation

True recovery takes years. We provide case management for housing assistance, support families through sickness, bereavement, and emergencies, and remain a long-term partner as communities rebuild homes and lives.
