  • Disaster Recovery

During disasters and emergencies, Sewa International mobilizes volunteers, resources, and community partnerships to provide immediate relief and long-term rehabilitation support.

How Sewa Responds

We Serve with Compassion. We Rebuild with Hope.

From Rescue, to Relief, to Rehabilitation, we stand with communities in times of crisis and help them rebuild stronger, restore dignity, and create a path toward a resilient future.

Rescue

The first 72 hours are critical. We coordinate volunteers, helplines. and on-ground support to connect survivors with rescue teams, safety, and emergency shelter. Our Disaster Recovery Vehicle (DRV) can be rapidly deployed to support disaster response operations on the ground.

Relief

As communities move beyond the immediate crisis, we provide food, clean water, clothing, hot meals, hygiene supplies, and essential relief materials. We support families with clean-up efforts, recovery assistance, and access to critical services and resources—helping communities take their first steps toward rebuilding and recovery.

Rehabilitation

Recovery takes time. We stay for the journey. We help families rebuild their homes, regain stability, and navigate life after disaster; providing ongoing case management, housing support, and compassionate assistance through life's challenges.
