  • Sewa LEAD

A platform for young adults to explore ideas, build essential leadership skills, and serve their communities with mentorship, real projects, and the spirit of selfless service at the core.

Leaders of tomorrow, in service today

"LEAD" is a Sewa International youth engagement program for high school students. The program provides a platform for young adults to explore, innovate ideas, and learn essential leadership skills — fostering a service mindset and becoming the compassionate, proactive leaders of tomorrow.

Through engaging activities, mentorship, and hands-on community service, we inspire students to recognize their potential to create positive change in society. The program fosters personal growth, social responsibility, and leadership skills, empowering young individuals to lead with purpose and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

The LEAD Impact

From coast to coast, LEAD students are running fundraisers, organizing climate-action campaigns, tutoring younger kids, and turning ideas into real community change. Here's what that looks like in numbers — and in action.

Sewa Pathways to Serve

The Sewa Pathways to Serve Leadership Program combines experiential learning with thoughtful reflection — a holistic approach to leadership development rooted in the spirit of selfless service. LEAD students engage in:

Interactive learning sessions that strengthen leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

Curated learning resources that inspire critical thinking and broaden perspectives.

Guided reflections that encourage self-awareness, empathy, and personal growth.

Hands-on service projects that transform ideas into meaningful community action.

The Program Is Organized Into Four Progressive Levels:
